Throws of Khos

Follow the path, the road less tread,
away from the living ones, away from the dead
Forget your mortality, become aware of your worth,
idolize not only those of prodigious birth

The destruction of one and the creation of another,
feigning the honoured symbolism of sister and brother
Melancholy wonder, fabulous taboo,
are you what you say you are, or do others define you?

Lead, don't follow, walk, don't run,
rules are so simple, but kills one's fun
Enough is enough, if you don't know what to stand for,
you'll end up a failure, a societal whore

The obliteration of love, trust, and live,
absconded, abandoned in a life of eternal strife
Forget what you learn, what you say, what you do,
for your whole life means nothing if it means nothing to you
